To be fair, the cost of getting the K4M to 140bhp is pretty high compared to a ph1 172 for a track car is pretty high. I'm not having a go at your car mate, I like it, nice to be different but your car is stripped etc, compared to a stripped 172 it would obviously be slower as 170bhp plays 140bhp.

Some of my mates do take the piss. To be honest not one mate of mine is into cars, other than "I want a 1.6 Focus"....... I realy wish one of my mates was as into cars as me.

I'd buy a 182. I know your car is modded and will be completely different from a standard 1.2 but when I upgraded to my 172 it felt like a completely different car, more solid, much better to drive generally. You love your current car but maybe its time for a change.

Sell it. Simple. It makes a better and cheaper track car than a heavily tweaked 1.4 16v or 1.6 8v does it not?

I'd put 182 interior in personally. Its nicer than the 172's seats imo.

Why bother with a 1.4 16v when you can get a ph1 172 for anything from £1500+.

I think it looks awsome. Always liked the 200, for £13K they're a good buy too, options knock the price up a fair bit though but they're essential.

Only a complete idiot would buy that at £3950. It doesn't even look well done, 17's on a track style car doesn't make sense for a start.

Thats in mine too, the fully synthetic stuff.

At the minute i'm using 95ron. There are mixed opinions on it though, If I got the car mapped for 98 ron then i'd obviously use that but as my car's engine is standard apart from a stealth i'm happy with 95ron.

What a chav. At least he is enthusiastic though.
