I'd go for the trackday and tuition option. When I get a 1*2 i'm going to book a trackday with tuition to try to learn how to maximise its potential. The trophy is the best handling standard Mk2 Clio so you already have a huge advantage. If you want to go down the route of physical upgrades...

I thought capsicum car a one off colour for the trophy I stand corrected. I personally think it looks stunning on the trophy's but very average on the Non RS's. Its probably down to the colour coding and better looking bumpers though.

I can get 55-57mpg on the motorway at a steady 50 and thats in a 1.2. There realy isn't much difference in fuel economy in the clio range unless its a Vee or a dci.

Believe me the way isurance is at the minute a 1.4 would be touhcing 2K. 17 in a 172 cup would easily be 3-4K imo.

I'd do it, they'll get 60mpg combined no problem. The 1.2 16v has little if any benifits over the DCI.

I'm in the same boat as you mate. However I can't cancel because I'm only 18 and need my NCB in august so I can insure a 1*2. I actually had a dream about coilovers last nite :(

They are extremely loud mate. Dynamat would help with the interior noise, tbh this is why i'd be tempted by the miltek over the yozza for the 182.
