I'd go for a mk2 Dci 80 if I was you mate. They're torquey and very economical. Remap will see 110 bhp aswell.

Take a chance mate, if you don't like it you could always get another 197. The R32 would have to be 3dr though.

Yozzaspots sound very good. Miltek's do also sound good though, especially with the centre box removed and decatted like christophers, its epic tbh. Can't comment on build quality of either though.

Only a cable mate, its not something you maintain untill something go's wrong. Its now 13 years old and god knows how many miles, nothing to worry about what so ever.

Yes because the calipers have to travel further to grip the disk, therefore more fluid needs to be pumped through.

I think it will be a huge difference to the valve mate, however its certainly a huge upgrade. If you have it in anything like the condition your valver was then it will be an amazing car.

Well the engines have the same power and torque (well RT is 2nm more) the mai difference is your car is 945kg but the RT is 885kg. Basically you need to lose 60kg to keep up. If I was you i'd just accept that his car is faster in a straight line, maybe do some suspension mods etc and just try...
