Forget rear strut brace does nout.

The welding adds more strength to the shell,less flex in the body,etc,etc.

Ok just that on the old Escorts the windscreen used to crack over a jump if fully welded.

Chris,can't help noticing but the seam welding looks like its been welded all along chassis etc.. When we used to do the rally cars(many years ago)we were advised not to do this as the shell still needed some flexibility,so even it was called seam welding it was welded 2 inches leave 1 inch and...

Leave it alone is the best thing to do.

Should have taken the living room window out and parked it in there.

I would imagine that anything that you drive like you've just escaped from jail will fall apart eventually,but treated with a bit of care then no trouble.Seating position could be better but I can live with it.
