thats the exact reason i sold mine. when i sold it i made sure it was mint, everything in perfect working order... i just couldnt see myself spending any more money on it, so traded it.

check the rear shocks for oil too... i should imagine they'll be on their way out soon

yup, the Ph1's came with every option available to the car as standard :) it was the Ph2's owards which had it on the options list, hence why i pulled the changer out of my 172 before i traded it... to stick in the 182

lol, you've all summed up what i was thinking! :approve: i'll keep them on for the weekend to get my £6 worth, then take them off.

it kicked in at 4500 on the old 172, but my 182 "cams" at 5000rpm which admittedly is a little too high.

thats a fault with your car, easily fixed by moving the O/S engine mount forward on its bracket. Check that the exhaust isnt blowing. Also check little things like if its got the rare aluminium bonnet or shift light. Spare wheel should be a full alloy OZ F1 cup, check that the car has an...
