PMSL he should have the log book back now... it wasnt delayed due to the private reg, it was delayed because the log book's been sat on my desk for a week. Took it into renault to pass onto him on friday. its reg is now Y697 HWE as it was when i bought it.

its a windscreen from a dynamique with a sunroof... designed to deflect the wind around the sunroof. I wouldnt worry about it, probably just been replaced due to stone chips on the original.

ask who their warranty is underwritten by. Chances are they'll use a warranty company due to not having the facilities on site. On a side note, i received the log book back from DVLA saying i still own the 172... so shall we go and get it back? :evil:

i agree with edde.... dont really feel you should be complaining about petrol? you should count yourself lucky... your problems seem much less severe than most on here! :)

i did indeed, had everyone fooled for about an hour too!

my old one did that until i took it all apart and fixed it. there's a little white ring iirc under the wheel enclosure which i greased up, after tightening it slightly. it never happened again after that. Now, wasnt that advice worth the £5 membership :rasp:

the only thing i would change is the side repeaters to clear ones. then it will be very average :approve:

i took a saw to my standard aeriel, then re-sealed it afterwards. works 100% fine :approve:
