No there were two identical cars one here - I guess that you now own one of them, I can't remember whose the other one was.

I like it, it looks really clean, I haven't seem a car on Momo arrow's for years. There was another one on here identical to your car too (naples red & on arrow's)

I can see the point of it on a cup (if the have got a cup with no cc etc) but on a normal 172/182 with climate I don't see the point. I think sunroofs look cr*p these days presonally. Actually edit that, I don't see the point of one on a cup at all !!

I only ever see clios on turini's on here - I never see any clios on the road with them on (apart from cups obviously) I like the wheels:)

I agree that the 172 for 7.7k is over priced - possibly by even upto a grand, but I think you'd be really hard pushed to get a 182 for that money (maybe a tatty early one - but not a decent one) Tbh it seems that on here people really want to push the prices of clios down, I have no idea why...

personally i'd look at ones on auto trader which match the spec of your car, see whta they are up for & price it in with them.

Roughly about £300 - 400, you might get lucky & get one for less though.

bs number - british standard number, it'll be on the right hand side at the bottom mate. If it does fail on them you'll have 14 days to get a new set made up any way. Personally I think it will pass. Let us know if they fail you on them.

Are the letters the right size Jay ?? and is there space of 11mm from the letters to the edge of the plate ? if yes to both you'll be fine. also do they have the bs number on them - not that any mot testers ever looked for it on my cars.

If the brake dust is really stubborn you could try wonder wheels - but it is very acidic, so much so that you may want to water it down a bit. Its really good though:) (only ever use it a few times a year if that) it takes all kinds of cr*p off. A good idea (I don't know if any one said it) is...

Where you from ?? I live near Romford & saw an 05 racing 182 on sunday evening, this one had the white racing stripes on it, I saw it by the brewery.

I don't know of any one on here thats had it done, removing the strips from the bumper is a mission as they are bonded in. Also with the sides, watch out for car park dents as there's no protection you'll prob end up with a few from careless idiots.

Personally I think that getting it done in a different colour to the colour it is at the min is a total waste of money, resprays knock loads off of the re sale value & unless you go for a proper respray its not worth it. Unless you planning on keeping it for a while or getting it seriuosly...

^ I agree, having driven a mk2 172 loads of times the 5k that people rave on about doesn't seem great at all:( The other thing i've noticed that at 5k upwards the car (which is totally standard,standard exhaust etc) is really loud inside:dapprove: In fact its quite unbearable.
