Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Cheers Andy, let me know which days you're doing and hopefully we'll crossover on one. How is yours fairing? If not, maybe catch up at one of the French Trophy race meets?
I thought that was the case. Having looked, the Bedford RS one I'm not doing as...
Just swap them. I'm sure James won't notice ;)
Interesting on the DS3000s and 'warping'. I've just fitted a set so will keep my eye on it.
Sonny the racecar looks lovely, glad it's come together and survived testing. Hopefully catch up at one of the races this year. Which ones are you doing?
Some Team Anorak planning last night on this.
Can.....not wait.
Luke - if you want to go, have a chat with Tim. as we may still be able to add someone to our pitch.
Unless you are driving like a lunatic, over short distances, that's an indicator something isn't right I'm afraid chap.
With my new uncammed engine in, I'm averaging 37mpg at the mo. Which isn't too bad given it gets a pasting every now and then.

Good shout. I'm booked on the RS day at Oulton. I'd like to do both the RS day at Brands and the RS day at Bedford.
I also want to do Anglesey and Snet or Cadwell at some point. Doubtful I'll get any in for May unfortunately. Let me look at the...
Good to see everyone and catch up.
Thanks Mike for the caliper and the idle check. Looking forward to Wales this weekend and Le Mans now. Sorry I had to duck off early.
Lol! I have bad experiences of heading to Wales and my chariot of choice failing on me in deepest, darkest 'bumfuck' country (wasn't clio, was a Mini JCW).
This time, i'm going over prepared :)
Can't wait for the Wales trip. I extended my breakdown cover with the AA to cover recovery to any location of my choice, in anticipation :)
The T is looking awesome 'Othy. Didn't know you'd gone down the air con delete route aswell. Good work.
Ha ha! Yep, it is nice to have it back. Concerned with the idle issue though. Also, both wheel bearings need to be replaced next month. They have some play in and are starting to make very faint noise.
Trusty Shicra is the back up plan :)
It is open bud, but its traffic controlled, so the queues are horrendous at times. To be honest, the whole of caversham etc has been gridlock the last few weeks at peak times. Have fun!
Thanks for the offer of a lift, but yep, I am in the flamer.
At least my chav wagon works. For now ;)
