I think tbh fords have missed the boat yet again with the fiesta st. They ought to bring out real hot hatches, rather than these 'limp wristed' so called 'warm hatches' every fiesta st I ever see seems to be driven by some 18 yr old who thinks he's driving an F15 fighter jet.

the dipstick would have a white dot on it, a valver came either with black or blue on the top. Its to do with the sumps.

Flame red

No - i'm pretty sure flame red only came on 172's, i'm sure the dynamique colour is different (a fair few shades in fact) We have a flame red 172.

When my clutch went in my valver- there was no signs of it slipping, when it packed up it just packed up (I was in the process of changing gear at the time) the revs just flew up & I clocked what had happened - when I got out the smell was awful !

Not bad, not bad - mine was £400 f/c for my valver (on a normal 12 month policy) but i'm 24 I also have 3 years ncd. The excess was more than the insurance,lol ! My new car is group 20 & very reasonable £800 f/c.

You could get a heavy duty battery. My mate had a huge system years ago in his fiesta, he used to drive three miles a day in so it wasn't long enough to charge the battery, he got a heavy duty one & it was fine, he also used to give the car a good run to make sure that the battery was charged.
