Agree on potentially pinched HT lead. Only other thing you haven't done on your list of the usual suspects that are at fault to cause misfire / bad running are; - injectors - temperature sensor although these would usually cause the engine management light to flicker or be on. Or something...

Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project Right, small update. In the run upto the wedding, only a few small bits and bobs were done; - Whiteline RARB fitted, definitely a recommended mod. - swapped the aerial for a smaller one (porsche). Theres an extra 5 bhp right there ;) - Bought the spoiler off...

This. IIRC one car made less on K-Tecs than it did on Charlie's at Surrey Rolling Road. For all those 'you'll never see 195' people, mine made 197 bhp. Tanks made 203 bhp and Laines made 192 bhp, dominators made 195 bhp as noted above. That's 4 people with 190+. But, I agree with Dom, it's how...

Not good. Just seemed hellbent on setting itself on fire, even after 6 or so fire extinguishers were used to coat the car.
