I've just done a new insurance quote, I only insured the Z4 a week ago, it's gone up over £500 That's a 50% increase for having a car hit mine whilst parked. Insurance companies are honestly the biggest cnuts on earth

Kev, the company that are doing it won't give me the estimate, said I have to get it off of the insurance. Insurance are saying it'll take 48 hours before they've got the engineers report so I have to wait. They'll be collecting the car tomorrow. You've hit the nail on the head there...

It's basically just a rod and clip system, probably unclipped itself from somewhere. Just hope you haven't snapped a clip as it's a bit of a awkward git. Even if you have, new door mechs are cheap as piss.

Try any breakers or eBay. Just google "clio breakers" and see what's local or what will post?

Rip the door apart, takes about five minutes. How is it broken exactly? If you unlock from the inside once, does it then open from the outside until locked again?

You did! You sent the cambelt cover, but not the bolts. I had one bolt left alive, so only needed two of the three.

You saved my life, the engine was hanging from the cambelt cover by a single bolt, two snapped bolts in the engine.. two bolts from you and a lot of patience with a TINY drill bit and big flat head screw driver and I was OK again.

LOL! Don't you start. All I have is the bill so far, it's a fortune per day so I'll see what turns up tomorrow. It'll be nice to finally meet you Danny, we've chatted/you've helped me out without actually meeting
