Re: Z4 - Perfect No More
Brilliant :)
That's cheered me up a bit.
Just got to see how badly he's playing silly beggers now. I've got a feeling he's really going to drag his heels. Never did send me the Audi drivers email. FFS.
Re: Z4 - Perfect No More
Thanks for all the sympathy/love.
I'd heard it's my choice where it gets repaired but I don't really know anywhere amazing around here. I guess I'll have to have a look.
I'm not sure whether to send it to the local BMW or not?
To any of you who have dealt with...
Re: Z4 - Perfect No More
Just spoke to a witness.
Two cars colided, Clio and an Audi, I've been around to the Clio's house and they're a bit ....
Clio drivers mum has told me that there was a man walking a dog and he's a witness, everyone else I've spoke to has said there was no one about...
Well, two weeks of enjoying it and one weekend cleaning so it was mint, then today I return to this:
Two cars collided next to it whilst outside a friends, neither are accepting liability so I need to speak to my insurance tomorrow.
This is the worst thing ever, supposed to be...
Cheer Owen :)
From what I've seen, the BMW's are much easier to retro fit stuff, take the steering wheel for example, 9/10 of them have the wiring sitting there for it just not plugged in. I'll check the seat wiring when I get a good chance and see.
Ta mate, your 106 isn't so bad either...
Heated seats are the only thing it's missing, I've said this to about 9 people now with a sad look on my face.
From what I've seen, heated seats come up occasionally as people upgrade to sport seats, so I'm keeping an eye out. The zed forums are really good too.
I hope the 18's will look...
Cheers, What more would you want from the interior? It's much nicer than my e46 320, it's the brushed dark ali, which looks pretty good IMO.
That's the plan for it, roof down and enjoy!
Erm... a good deal came up I suppose would be the correct response?
Really it just made sense, it's a...
Yeah lovely, paint had a very deep shine to it, it was pretty hard to see whilst applying (so I'm told) but the results are awesome.
The paint feels like glass too.
For 4k I bet it was, I actually dread to think.
Cheers Kev, much better than the TT for me I think yeah.
The engines are generally very good, the reliable 3.0 lump, sticking out just over 230hp and sounds immense.. It'll definitely be at CSS and I'll take you for a blast.
Cheers man, not as much as you may think!
Jesus! The 3.0...
Tis mate, I can't stop pushing it just to hear that noise!
Thanks
Cheers mate, you wouldn't regret it, trust me!
Blimey, I've told you before, it doesn't matter how many times you call me gay, you still can't have me.
Yeah it ticks A LOT of boxes for me, so it was a good choice IMO...
Cheers, you can but they're silly £££££
Just like you, short but sweet :o cheers JDM
Waiting for it? Am I that predictable?
I needed some time to straighten it up before I got some pics up :)
So, after a whole day cleaning, and I really mean a whole day, it's finally time to sling up some pics of the new car... (sorry this is quite a read)
Picked this up last weekend from a certain member off of here, it's a lovely car but was in need of a really good clean. It's obviously spent a...
Throttle cable is an easy change, very easy, it's possible that your thermostat is stuck open, therefore never really getting up to temp.
Thermostats are cheap enough, make sure you get a new renault seal with it if it isn't renault or just doesn't come with one. Coolant is cheap as piss too...
That looks great. Did it come with an engine cover? Great job on the inlets, so much more tidy.
Any random bits you need? As I still have some hanging around.
Top up your coolant! (Personally I'd flush it and change the thermostat, very cheap and necessary)
LOL, cheers welsh.
There won't be as much luggage no but we'll share a case and have a small holdall I think, I am MASSIVELY looking forward to blasting around with the top down, it's giving me crutch tingles just thinking about it!
New write up this year, bigger, better and faster (the lodge...

Something like that, if you ask MT audio off here and order from him, he'll make sure you get the right one.
I'd honestly say more than 3k, the 3.0's do command a small premium.
Re: Aux in, the easiest option, but still a bit of a pain is to run a wire from the CD changer to the glove box, there's a direct interface available for about £60/70 and it just replaces the CD changer as long as you have one.
