The 3090 is the more powerful card (about 10-15% over the 4070 in real terms) with more VRAM, but the 4070 is obviously newer tech. The 3090 is also a lot more expensive as pointed out. The 4070 is a great card and I would stick with that unless you can find a mint 3090 secondhand for a good...

First one i played was Fallout 3, and why i fell in love with the Game, loved New Vegas and No4, this is kind of what's holding me back, unless their is a significant upgrade to graphics and game play i don't know if i can be bothered to put another 3 or 400 hours into a 9 year old game.
