    Brake discs for endurance racing?

Hi, We're doing 8h endurance races with our 172 and we use endurance pads, such as CL Brakes RC6E or Ferodo DS1.11. The pads are awesome but they are really hard on the discs so I'm wondering if anyone can give some advice on good quality discs that will last longer? To fulfill the rules they...

    gearbox input shaft seal

Thank you very much for the info! I unbolted the guide tube but I couldn't remove it with hand force. It could be rotated slightly with the help of a screwdriver though. Does this give any hint whether I've got the early or late 129? The car btw, is a 2001 172 ph2. I had some damp areas which...

    172 ABS disable

    172 ABS disable

Yes, I will do that later. I guess I have to cut off a wire and see how it behaves. I don't think anyone designs a car that gets 50/50 brake bias in case one of the sensors break, right? Not even french engineers I hope :)

    172 ABS disable

Hi, I know there are plenty of threads on how to disable the ABS but I have never found a good answer because they all end up in "you will die if you remove the fuse" etc. So, I will not remove the fuse and I don't have the time right now to replace the braking components to Clio Cup ones...
