I hate leaving jobs unfinished, so I caved and went and got the ball joint splitter that @Rolls spoke of. A couple of turns and it popped right off! New rear arm installed, and now it looks like I have that other common issue of the rear wiper blade not quite wiping the top of the rear window...
Ah mate that's good of ya.
Can you let me know if there are any special requirements for the images? Must they be png or the exact size of the icons etc? I imagine me taking a photo of the panel is probably not sufficient!
If you PM me the details re how much you'd charge, I'll PayPal you the...
Hey guys,
I have a 182; my air conditioner fascia has some worn buttons on it. I was going to replace the whole a/c unit but the replacement one I got off ebay wasn't quite the same material as the one fitted in my 182 - the one I currently have is a soft sort of rubber, same as the rest of the...
How badly was yours stuck? After removing the nut, my wiper arm wont move at all. Not even a little bit. I've been soaking it in WD40 in the hope that it might eat through some of the sh*t that's causing it to be stuck.
Hey guys
Am trying to replace my rear wiper arm. Have removed the bolt holding it on, but the old arm does not seem to want to come loose.
I'm not sure if it's rusted into place or if I'm simply doing something wrong?
It should come off fairly easily after the bolt has come off, yeah?
Any...
Hi Guys,
I know this is an old thread - but is anyone still offering detailing in the SW London / Greenwich area, or does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance
@ccreedy I should be able to test that out for you tomorrow on my way to Heathrow if there isn't much traffic; but I'm not sure why it would affect the cruise control - the display for the cruise control in my 182 is in the instrument cluster below the speedo, not in the dash top display where...
Haha, yeah for sure! It was about the first thing I did - can't stand the radio these days and I don't own a single CD. Needed my iPod/ Phone working!
The hardest part now is trying to squeeze the head unit back into place with all those cables and adapters behind it now.
Want to change out my...
@MWright Curious if you ever found out what that 'speaker' is for? I've just removed that panel on my 182 to look at changing out the climate control unit and don't have a speaker there at all, but do have the purple connector..
Am going to attempt this next week. I haven't managed to find any photos of the back of the climate control panel, just assumptions on the forums that there is a multi connector cable back there - can anyone confirm that is the case? I really dont want to fiddle around with wires beyond a simple...
Touché. I guess my concern was wether or not it would actually fit; different connectors etc. But most of those eBay pages seem to have compatibility guides on them so I'll put my faith in that.
Hi All,
Could someone please confirm for me if the back wiper blade size the same as the front? And/or if you would still recommend using the Bosch Aero 21-21 blade on the rear?
Thanks!
Note for future reference, Halfords can't order the correct part in.
But I did find it online http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ctsrn005-2-can-bus-steering-control-adaptor OR...
