Wrong brackets by the sound of it. You ideally want some from a Cup so you can set the tension manually. Guessing you bought the car already done?

Are you using an alternator mounting that allows tension to be set? Or have you just removed the power steering and air con pumps from the original brackets?

That went from a completely normal evenly worn tyre to that in about 12 laps. Thought it was a geo issue but the rest of the tyre is immaculate and evenly worn. The edge literally fell off round anglesey. I thought it had been catching on the bodywork, but after swapping tyres side to side the other did not have any wear or anything similar at all. Never had a tyre go like that over the past 5 years on track... has to be a failure in the compound IMO
