Picked up a new cambelt a few days ago with the above product code printed on it, checked it against the belt I took off where you can just about see the printing and its the same (which did fit fine). 172 Ph1 Engine btw.
Every other cambelt ive EVER fitted has gone on fine, can just about get...

Need it running and driving by next weekend ideally. Once ive got the shell back its just bolting everything together which should go smoothly, then Oultons on Wednesday 28th

Of course it will, done it too many times now!
Checked the head over before building it up, then used new headgasket, newer dephaser pulley, new cambelt, mostly new everything - nothing should be wrong with it!
Installing it is the easiest...

Well, it went for paint yesterday evening, should have it back soon...
Engine built up today, few bits to do then its ready to drop in once I have the car back... All thats left after that is to wire the car up - still quite a lot to do lol.
This is not good at all, not one pic showing an actual angle grinder!
Looking good, I nearly called in on the way to Brooky the other day to see if you were about as I wanted to see the Rocco, but I had to get back lol
earls plumbing / earls.co.uk - braided are just for extra wear and tear afaik if space is tight in the bay, as you dont want a rubber pipe wearing through

Yeah - I was so p*ssed of with it over winter so sat around and did nothing to it for 3 months lol. Had two weeks of sun now and done more in that time than the past 3 months of snow!

Cheers. Yeah hopefully just getting everything covered, its one thing thats p*ssed me off over the last year with the interior, hopefully it wont have to be touched again now and the paint will stay on!

After days and days of sanding and hoovering, its ready for paint which is happening this weekend. Thanks to Adam and Sim for helping out over the few days, would have taken 10x longer otherwise lol.
Original seat bars now fully gone...
Didnt even know about it lol, its pretty w**k that since the regional forums have been made any posts/threads from them dont show on the 'Forum Home', so I miss quite a lot of them.
Was busy sanding the car ready for paint on fridays anyway!

Cars back, although managed to f*ck a driveshaft in the process :(
'Strut Brace' and strut bar holes/gaps plated over...
Floor plates welded over, since sealed over the top which will be sanded flat before paint...
Seat bars...
