Have a look in the engine bay its a big red button, lol.
Happened on mine the other day, went over a bump and it popped up (cuts fuel in a crash/bump)...The fuel pump will not prime or run if its popped up.
If thats pressed down and it still wont go check the fuse I mentioned :)
Ph1 is a small fuse in the engine bay box (passenger side) for fuel pump
Also Ph1, check the cut-off switch hasnt been activated, make sure its pressed down.
Classic speedo cable/speedo sensor fault. Replace the speedo cable (a faulty sensor on the clocks end, 3 pin connector) causes the high idle after driving.
Rev counter reading comes from TDC (Flywheel) Sensor...Its fed into the ECU for the running of the car then the ECU outputs the same signal for the tach.
You running 172 box? If so you'l already have those 'volvo' brackets on I would imagine, although they will be the Renault version that come on the 172's...
Im running the std valver clutch cable too, nice and light!
You would need to fit the whole wiring from the cup car afaik, along with the interior side of it and then the ECU etc as its all Magnetti Marrelli as bmh says.
480/Chris had the setup for sale at one point a while back.
Should have sprayed the lettering Naples first, let it fully dry for a few days then used some Fasmask onto the lettering, then done everything white and peeled the mask off the lettering to leave it red.
If you put the Fasmask on too soon it will just peel the Naples paint off the lettering...
Its called Fasmask, ive used it before. Works pretty well but it didnt work too well when i tried to use it for the lettering on my inlets.
I just used paint out of a pot, a brush and patience to paint the letters one by one.
Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
Its something that I honestly have not checked, LOL. The steering wheel will have to be removable though, or it wont be possible to get in/out...
