Cars been fine for a good few months, starting and running perfectly.
Went out to start it last night (after driving it in the day) and it would just turn over and not start. It was late so I left it until this morning...
Key In > Ignition On > Fuel Pump Primes.
Turn Key To Start > Cranks but...

Fuel pump is fine, primes and runs on ignition. Just does not run on cranking.

Well the fuel pump isnt even running on cranking (nor are injectors), so to me that points at immobiliser/or/crank sensor problem :(
Ive put the old crank sensor back on, that I know was working yesterday...
Unsure if its sparking, but I dont think the ECU...

Loosing my f**king patience with this car now, few months of trouble free running then all of a sudden everything goes wrong again.
Driving it round problem free all day yesterday, then parked it up at home. Went out in another car and got home later on...
got them all in a spreadsheet on my PC at home with numbers and dimensions, if youve not got them later il post it up...
Also just remembered that ive got some 172 cup hubs in the garage, and ph1 hub with a shot bearing...if you want some comparison pics let me know...although there is nothing...

I have 1 x 172 Cup hub, and 1 x Ph1 172 hub on mine at the moment, both are identical.......there is no difference at all.....My wheel definitely isnt sticking out further either...
Plus im running a cup driveshaft on the Ph1 172 hub side, and a 172 Ph1 driveshaft on the Cup hub, it all fits...
For the NW lot, just been past RSTuning earlier this evening, managed it in 50 mins with a clear run....gonna stop for some breakfast on the way and get there just after 9 so I can get my car on in the morning and not have to wait till the end ;)
nah the head bolts will probably be under the rocker cover, so that would have to come off first.....
If you are going to take it off on a weekend and im not doing anything I can pop up and have a look while you're doing it if you want
Williams wheel is 7.1kg without tyre, and turbines are heavier than those. Im guessing it wont be far off the same weight as the 16" RS wheel @ 8.2kg without a tyre to be honest!
Im running Ph2 bottom end with Ph1 head.
Mines a Ph1 cambelt kit im sure, well the belt and tensioner are. Cant remember if the idler was off my Ph1 bottom end and swapped over, i can check tommorow though.
