    My Late 2011 MacBook Pro

Tempted fate with this. It's now s**t itself, One of the graphics card is dead so it will work for a bit then screen crashes. Gutted as it's done me since I got it 9 years ago. Have bought a 2013 to replace it, Faster CPU and a far higher spec of graphics so should be a decent replacement...

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Following on from me asking about cleaning stained anodised parts up, my bells came up nice with some apc and a scrub pad. Unfortunately the calipers are stained for good although I never tried a polish Just need to get my stuck spacers off next time [emoji23]

Glad you mentioned the Kinlochring [emoji23] Worked at Loch Leven seafood cafe for a summer and that was my daily commute. There's was some days I'd do the loop multiple times, So good [emoji41] Road out to Mallaig is great as well, Skye has some stonkers as well but you need to be there in...

    Scottish highlands drive

Have you ever been further north/West? Some proper good roads up the famous NC500 route with some even better ones off the main loop and pretty much zero traffic. The Old Military road is better on the part past Glenshee imo like you say but I've got more preferred ones up the west over it...

    Foam-less snow foam

Have you cleaned or replaced the guaze in your lance? That causes poor foaming issues

    Alternative to Ad08R

I'm not actually sure, I though the A050 was that but they never came to Europe did they? Did read they were meant to be a step up to replace the AD08R but not sure how much truth was in that

    Alternative to Ad08R

Yeah wasn't great wear rates which sucks but they are up there with the best I've used. Almost 03Gs levels of dry grip but a lot better in the wet

    Alternative to Ad08R

Supersport R but only available in 19/20 at the moment I'd go A052s again but they don't have much tread and only lasted like 2.5k on the rear and 4k up front [emoji23]

Tbf I've not used them either but the datalogs I've seen show they are slower I don't think Cup 2 is that much quicker than the R version, Softer sidewalls though which is a little annoying. Shame you csnt get the Goodyear equivalent to the Cup is "normal" sizes

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Harry's Farm is also worth a watch I'm not a farmer by anymeans but enjoy watching those videos, Same with Welker Farms and Millennial Farmer. Think its the machinery I have an interest in [emoji1787]

    Alternative to Ad08R

Yeah I know but they were the go to do all tyre and the AD08R was a genuinely quick tyre with the right pressure and setup, Comparable to some "track" tyres Shame, I've got them on mine now but probably gonna have to go for Cup2 next

But they have been proven to be a few seconds slower? [emoji1787]

    V8 German Coupe

Recently bought a "new" to me D7100 to replace my D60 that had died a couple years ago now. Definently need to get back into the swing of things in both photography and the editing side. Shot on a 35mm prime lens, Reasonable happy with them other than the edit being a bit dark. My MBP screen...

    MarkCup's BMW M140i

Yeah manual ratios ain't great, 2nd/3rd and that's about it unless you want a trip straight to jail [emoji23] 4.1 or 4.4fd would make a massive difference but then cruising speeds are silly RPM and even worse mpg lol DCT is a little better being 7spd
