    Forza Motorsport 7

I caved in and got it last week as well. Still not sure whats so great about it over the previous games. Most annoying feature is not being able to jump straight into a test drive from the tuning/upgrade menu, Not to mention the ridiculous loading times. Don't get the car tier thing either...

GoPro How do you mount your one?

Suction mount on the PAX window gives a great view imo, Gonna look into a more permanent solution once i get the cage in though but would still like a similar view

    AD08R tyre pressures

Run them higher, 32 hot works well in them on mine

    Megane RS250 Cup

Update time I guess. Had a few bits needing doing before Spa a couple weeks back, mainly maintenence stuff really. Had new front calipers fitted along with some plain Brembo discs and some RST3 up front with some RS44s on the back, couple with Ti shims and Endless fluid im properly chuffed...

    Project CARS 2

Race director is a c**t [emoji23][emoji23] Can't even take the actual lines that you would/should in real life without getting times deleted, I got down to a 51.4 but that's as quick as I'll go now seeing as I'm away to Ring/Spa now and it will be done when I'm home. Poor me
  6. -Jamie-

What have you done to your car today ???

Packed the bits needed to get it prepped for Spa and Ring this weekend

    Project CARS 2

TBF i think softening it up for KH would mean it doesnt try nd break traction for 90% of the lap lol

    Project CARS 2

I'll stick my settings up for you later on when i get in, Im on a TX wheel on the Xbox and it feels nice enough that you know what the car is doing
  9. -Jamie-

    Project CARS 2

Is that similar to the TX wheel? I had to tweak the settings to get it feeling good, Got it at a good place but could probably be improved even more. Also, anyone else ran the Knockhill community challenge? That caterham is a right handful! Currently on a 51.79 but recon i can get into the...

    Project CARS 2

Depends what console your on really, Not worth it on the current gen Xbox imo. it needs a One X or PS4 Pro. Or a good PC

    Few pics of the M5

I'd definitely have a manual over the auto box if they were available here, Due to the cost of them when they go wrong. A mate had a properly clean and well looked after red saloon, Box shat itself and locked it into R on its 2nd or 3rd time out after he bought it. Gutted as it was a cracking...

    Project CARS 2

I managed to play this on a mates PC today, Wow. What a difference in terms of graphics compared to my own XO version. Id definitely say that the Xbox one is at its limits trying to run this, It looks no different to the first one really and actually seems to struggle at times, Been a few slow...

    Track day essentials

No Fuel at KH, Couple of options for fuel along the road either way which is also handy for cooling the car down en route. Always plenty people around with various tools etc. I tend to just take the basics these days, IE Buzz gun, Torque wrench, socket set. If i need anything more than that...

    Project CARS 2

It's good, properly good. Few bugs on the Xbox version mind you. Clio cup cars are still a right bundle of laughs, but you can actually catch the oversteer now a bit easier
  17. -Jamie-

    Project CARS 2

Nowhere near as mad as it was, you can actually catch a slide/oversteer now with spearing into the armco. It's definitely a good improvement over the first that's for sure!

    Project CARS 2

For sure, the tyre model is far better now, actually feel like your connected to the tarmac. That's on my TX wheel, not played with any FFB settings yet as unlike the first one, it works out the box well enough

    Forza Motorsport 7

Everything was off, it really doesn't change that much. The traction under wot is silly in the wet Actually, I may of had engine damage to be fair so don't think I had full power, still didn't notice a massive change in grip though
  20. -Jamie-

    Forza Motorsport 7

I particularly like how you have the same grip level in the GTR in the wet and dry, must be a special tyre they use.

    Project CARS 2

Not a shame at all, it's still very much aimed at the wheel user. I'm quite annoyed bought it on the way home, only to get in and load it up to find a 12gb update already. Seeing as I have turnip Internet I may get to play it tomorrow, disappointed

    Forza Motorsport 7

Still struggling to understand the hype over this? It's the same old as usual with shinier graphics

    Game changing?
  26. -Jamie-

    Forza Motorsport 7

Forza isn't the game I'd be getting a wheel for, the FFB is utter w**k on it. Ill probably stick pick this up however I don't see anything worth getting excited about, it's the usual Forza that hadn't changed at all on next gen with the addition of some basic weather

    Clioless - E46 M3 Racecar

Mega build, Proper attention to detail there! Seen you posting some photos of the unit on on of the FB groups, Never knew you were on here haha!

how to brake in a rebuilt engine

Stick some proper running in oil in it for the first 40/50 miles, Vary the revs and don't labour it. Then kick its c**t in, Guaranteed to be a stronger engine

    Megane RS250 Cup

Meant to add, wheels are getting painted next week to get rid of the chav spec lip and have some 265 DRLs and blade to fit as mine are broken, also have all the bits need to add some much needed brake ducting which will be done whole bumper is off
