yeah i have, im circa -250kg in mine at the moment...that loss makes a difference.. I had the seats out my Mk2 at one point though, front seats = were heavy, rears = more of a placebo tbh!

recaro's do weigh quite a bit.....rear bench though, its just a block of foam! uprights for the rear arent much heavier either

Only worth it if your council subsidises it by 50% or more. Which mine doesn't.

yeh the rubber is a seperate bit, round O Ring yeh? This is the paper gasket between the throttle body and the inlet plenum, mine disintergrated when I took the TB off

nah, its a paper gasket if its the one hes on about between the inlet mani + throttle body... ive got it somewhere, gimme a few mins

i have no heaters/blower unit etc, all the holes have been welded up, passed fine

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project its gone like a ghetto low rider since the cage went in, lol...raised the front 5 turns on the coils, gona put the back up 10mm...that is all lol yeah, cage mount sorted :)

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project maybe it did, lol. sorted now though... Done quite a bit today, raised front coilovers, welded plate on the chassis at the back and fixed a few other bits and bobs... Just need to raise torsion bar in the morning, re-fit passenger seat, fit DS2500's and...

Only me again with what I imagine is another bone question I've looked around and for my low budget have decided on these https://www.wheel-base.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=ACE-205 Although it says suitable for Renault, the wheel has 5 holes where as the one on now has 4. So how does that work...
