if it took him 3 hours to spray a few panels then that would be bad lol...you know him, 5 min spray jobs n that ;)

Heard of this happening before, someone I had a bit of material taken off the inside of the center hole, effectivley (sp) making it deeper (which is stopping it going on all the way) by a local machine shop...was a perfect fit then! 2 minute job on a proper machine tbh

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project Yeah, quite a bit to do... Still need to swap the gearboxes over, finish getting the rest of the cage bars welded in, get the map sorted, save some more weight (doorskins + battery), tidy up engine bay again (ECU Relocate Take 2) and quite a few other bits :)

yeah but its twice the work if he wants to spruse up the bay.....get it out, fit the cams and stuff, sort the shell and engine, put it back together = win for winter and next summer....no messing around!
