Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project Ok, thanks to matteh for finding the PDF with all the immobiliser info in, and working out various things to try and get past my immobiliser just to get the car running again... Dismantled a few things from the 172 interior loom before, split the UCH up...

i mean...when you turn your ignition on, the battery light SHOULD illuminate, until the car is started, then it will go off...........does it do this?

alternator should have two wires iirc (my 172 ph1 engine loom did), but the yellow (it looks like yellow) its just a 'turn on' for the alternator, when ignition comes on.........does your battery light show when u put ignition to position 2? 2nd pic is inlet air temp sensor

Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project Where is the emulator from james? I may have found a way around it, i got the key/decoder ring/uch etc with the car, matteh has worked out a way that should work wiring it up to get it running again....going to try it shortly.
