I started working out the valver loom about a week ago, but only got round to doing it properly tonight. Stripped it off the engine, along with the 172 engine loom off the other engine too. Matteh had given me his list of connections for a Ph1 valver engine loom...
think he wants the 172 brakes though i think i read?
i suppose he could just put the hubs onto the wishbones he already has, then the 172 disks and calipers... would fit fine .....although im not sure if the actual 172 struts fit? im sure they arent the right length or something.......has it...
subframe dosent fit iirc......
I put the 172 wishbones, hubs, driveshafts, brakes etc onto the valver subframe...all fits fine.......you need the williams anti roll bar though, as the 172 item dosent fit as i found out.......you need williams as the 172 stuff is basically 'widetrack', same...

Yeah....well I may have found a barn to put the hybrid in, going to check it out tommorow to give it a look over, if its all good its getting put there :approve:

Yeah, i have 'timing' tools for a Mk1, DIY style ones LOL ;)
Mk2 ones are slightly diff, and I wouldnt want to time it wrong and something else go wrong etc...
Its an easy job if you have the correct tools....but see what birchdown say first :approve:

Got nowhere to put the hybrid never mind a 3rd car as of yet, plus not even got that much to buy a 3rd car either way as of yet, lol
Looking into putting a new system together, this one seems to be getting quite 'out of date'. I used to follow the changes in processors a long while back, keeping with the latest etc, but ive no idea at all what is around these days.
My current system is: Pentium 4 @ 3.0Ghz, 2.5Gb DDR3200, ATI...
DIY it, small 12v bullet camera...Small little metal bracket made to hold it here...
Then I used to plug it into a video camera and hit record...
