xenon fixed, yes lol
aerosol yep, sanded it all first with wet and dry, dried it, then loads of very fine coats to build it up (hammerite hammered effect), sort of satin :)
offset 36 IIRC, no spacers on the back, 8mm(ish) on the front.
they were 10mm spacers, but it brought them too close to the arch. 5mm spacers were too small resulting in the wheel being very very close to the shock. so i took 2ish mm off the 10mm spacer on a milling machine to get it perfect :)
would you recommend only getting the 70-200 with the IS? or will it not make any difference to me? As i could pay upto circa 350 if it was going to be worth it for a 70-200 NON IS, then use a 1.4x if i wanted to go slightly longer?
just a quick one, what am i missing here?
Canon 70-200mm f4L...

Canon 70-200mm f4L...
ok so really im looking at a canon 70-300 or sigma 70-300, im going to get £250 for my 10-20 sigma, so i have around that to spend.
I dont see why say a canon 70-200 is more expensive? or a 100-300 is expensive again? why is this?
its just mega stiff :approve:
(excuse the center console mess in the middle of wiring)
seen them already mate, cheers for the heads up though, they are 16's :(
yeah had two steelies on the front lol, only just got the wheel repaired so got all four superleggeras back on :)
nah...
Ive been searching on here for what people are using for motorsport/sports photography, but cant really get a definitive answer...there seems to be mixed opinions......i have a 350d, after say a 70-300mm, should i go canon, or sigma? or something else?
thanks!
i nearly have on a few occasions.........then thought nah whats the point after all the work, then nothing happened for a few months, then the wheel happened, meh!...............either sit it out or sell
ive had 4 crashes, all non fault, only two were covered by others insurance, other two had to pay to fix myself as the people drove off, round about 300-400 quid a time, then spent a grand, yes a grand, because i got f*cked around with spraying myself and dodgy rear 172 bumpers, all the petrol...
Well after the incident on the way to FCS, ive had the Superleggera:
From: To:
Re-decalled the wheel today and nipped out for a few pics...seeing as i havent posted any since it all went acid yellow before FCS :approve:
it took lip of the edge off, no damage to the actual structure of the wheel...i had it checked, its straight and true...
when he balanced it yesterday putting the tyre back on it was near enough perfectly balanced also, only needed like 2 grams on the outer edge...
well, you cant see them, they are tiny, all of them, but at a certain angle when its clean, looks like a mountain range the amount of little tiny creases
nah going to get rid of them
putting them back on yeah but still trying to find something else
got quoted £300 odd to get all the dents out of the car, there is like 12 on passenger side, 14 on drivers side, 7 on bonnet........the list goes on
