Finally got the eibach sportlines fitted, handles awesome now! Took her for a long drive yesterday across hudds, holmfirth and into manchester, best car ever, thought i'd share a few pics.
Next modds i think will be brembo max discs and mintex pads, a ph2 rear bumper, ph2 lights and prospeed...
Want something to make the rear bumper look lower on my ph-quick but wanted to see if anyone else had fitted one first before i forked out £140 ish.
Cheers

I dont have
A) the time
B) the facilities
C) the daylight
I am more than capable, but my job and where i live at uni dont allow. And i need it done asap as the car's handling is going on dangerous with the 17" wheels at that height.
Right guys,
Basically i went to a french specialist garage today to see about getting my eibach sportlines fitting.
After reading this guide which seems the way most people have fitted them i assumed it would be about a 2hr job.

As the title says, looking to lower the rear bumper abit on my ph1 172 as it looks high compaired to the rest of the car. I dont want some horrible body kit type thing stuck on the bottom, i want something that is very subtle and looks like part of the car.
just wondered if anyone else thought...
Yeah, although it was fine before i changed them. Feels like the springs are too soft to cope with the car body being that much higher, higher center of gravity and all that.
Sportlines will sort it when i get them fitted, its just finding time and daylight in between uni work, djing...
What do you mean 'decent' pics you cheeky t**t! lol
Just outa interest why 16's? There's naff all difference between a 17 on a 40 profile tyre and a stanard 16", but it looks so much better. It annoys me how everyone is like everyone else........... oh i have a ph-quick i must put 16" OZ...
yeah thats what i just said, springs arrived yesterday, getting them fitted next weekend when ive got a few good hours spare. Really needs it as it handles like dogshit on the standard springs.

Gave her a good clean yesterday and took a few pics on my phone at a local spot, what ya think?
Theyre 17" OZ F1 Cups powdercoated in graphite grey, thought i'd go for something a little different.
BTW Eibach sportlines just arrived need fitting as its a little high atm.

Looking at getting a new system for my ph1 172 to replace the standard crap that is falling apart. I was something that sounds NICE when you start it up and when your giving it some, but i dont want to sound like matey going down the highstreet in his 'moded' 1.2 corsa deafening the elderly.
I...
holly where did you get your french press plates done and how much? want to change mine as they have the previous owners name underneith, which happens to be anne! lol
Sam
