Ideally yes but apparently fresh tarmac will ruin the appearance of the drive.
I'm hoping it will just about squeeze in otherwise I will be brushing the gravel back sticking fresh tarmac underneath then brushing it back on top but I could do without the hassle/expense.
Don't suppose...
Basically my garage used to be a bungalow that we converted so it has a ramp about the height of a speed bumb to get in and out am I going to have issues?
Annoy one nearby fancy trying it out ? :rasp:
Will grab arb a pic later.
Sorry probably should have phrased that better seems to be symptom of using that calliper on the Clio.
Filing the pads back can help along with copper grease, I would hazard a guess it might be something to do with the disk thickness.
I gave up myself and switched to the 197 calliper...
Tbf Birchdown are great on price you just have to book a month in advance. ;)
As for the top mounts unless there perished or damaged I wouldn't bother replacing them personally but its your call.
Think you have answered your own question there mate sounds like a sticking caliper.
Abs rings are utter shite on these cars usually the traction control flags up if one of these has cracked.
Made a start on the car today, a quick wash and decontaminate. Then I swapped the spark plugs over which where soaked in oil so that's something else to fix.. Then replaced the rear brakes.
Hi
Just swapping over the spark plugs and there's oil in the right two spark plugs.
The right most has a little in but the middle right has quite abit can't work out where its coming from as the inlets pretty clean and there none in the dips in the top of the engine.
Cars been running ok up...
