Thats very cool.

Can you not get the ramp made longer? so the front wheels are half up it by the time the splitter gets to the garage?

Ideally yes but apparently fresh tarmac will ruin the appearance of the drive.

I'm hoping it will just about squeeze in otherwise I will be brushing the gravel back sticking fresh tarmac underneath then brushing it back on top but I could do without the hassle/expense.

Don't suppose anyone could measure from the splitter lip to the ground to see what I have to play with? :)

What springs are you on now?

I use a bit of plywood for my mk1 to go in and out as its really really low to the ground and catches otherwise, but thats not a daily so no drama.

Just standards at the mo, hopefully I should have 35mm will check later on otherwise plywood sounds like a good idea.

You will be fine , we have a larger short ramp on the entrance to our drive and the only time it touches is if you drive at it and brake at the last minute , cup on cooksports here

Cheers guys looks like it will just about do it.
Reversing is an issue because of getting in and out.
