I have got the 2 shock absorbers i ordered and they are a different part number :S Does this mean there the wrong shock absorbers ? The 2 shockers i collected today are the following part number. R82 00 662 257

Connections are fine, no corrosion etc at all. The plug that plugs onto tb had vw/audi stamped on it :S why's this ? The tb had a Renault diamond on it though and Made in Germany written on it. The AA will be here soon, so we'll see what there OBDreader comes back with ;)

The fault is constant, but there are no dash lights coming on :S . Just checked the tb and its fine unplugged connector to it and its fine as well :S So its a weird one.

I'm at home i'm away to try what your saying. And i'll get back to you ;) I have AA Membership, do they have any diagnostics they can hook up that may help point me in correct direction if i called them ?

The local dealer in Aberdeen won't. I can bet that one, its Evan Halshaw and there useless :( The car still has warranty with them till november, so i booked it in to them but the soonest they can look at it is next thursday. :( So i'll have to drive car and look like a dick in traffic...

The throttle body is clean bud. I gave it a wipe the other day with a cloth and brake/clutch cleaner while it was still on car :) I'm thinking the throttle body is fooked :( As all my pipes and wires are where they should be

How do i do that ? And would i be able to post it on here then ?

Did you get a hold of that other sensor ? And it may be worth looking into that K Tec Fault Code Reader as its less than 50 quid and could be handy ;)

Do you have your warranty docs ? It'll tell you in there all thats covered ;) Its does in mine :)

The engine light may just mean engine fault and Maybe that other light doubles up as glowplug light on diesels and means something else on the petrol cars :S trying to point you in the correct direction of the fault :S

Aint the preheat light only applicable to the Dci (diesel) clios as its the preheat for the glowplugs aint it ? :S

It may be worth fixing this before fitting the decat. And thats it done and dusted:) That way you'll know if theres a problem with the decat at all as the light would illuminate. This would only affect you if this is the same light that comes on with an exhaust problem ;)
