And isn't the laser detector a bit late for warning ? Cause after the laser detector has picked up a camera, gun etc aint it too late to react once it beeps ? Does that not mean you have been caught ? On less you hammer brakes on immediately. Excuse me if i'm bull shitting. ;)

I was looking through the shed tonight and came across a bottle of Car Plan Triplewax Car Shampoo.. I take it this is one shampoo to stay away from ? Going by its price.... I found this wheel cleaner too. I take it this is a no go as well. Too acidic ?

Mine is attached just underneath the rear bumper ;)

And it looks better than this silly funnel coming out the grill, i think you'd get away with it on a big bhp jap turbo'd motor but not a N/A clio :S Well thats my opinion ;)

Ok cheers, i had conti's on the front of the car when i bought it (about 1 1/2 years ago) And i can say they were better than the yoko's i replaced them with. I thought Yoko's were meant to be good ? And are Kumho's reaaly that bad ?

Ah right ok. ;) I thought the darker coloured wheels came off the cup pack 182s ;) Have you changed the suspension or anything ? You had any problems suspension wise with your car ? For being exactly same dimensions as 172 wheels, its weird they scrubbed on your car :eek:

How come they scrub ? There same diameter wheel (16"). Is it cause of the the 205 tyres ? Or has the 172 got a different suspension setup and cause rubing ? Yeah there the same just different colour (i think) :S

I have just been having a scan through the clio media section and has a scan through a fair amount of nice cars and spotted this. How come this car(susanamck's) has "Clio" shown in the Audio Display ? How do you get that ?

My 172 FF is running Yokohama A539s on the front and Toyo Proxes on the rear at the moment. My front tyres are going to need replaced in the next month or so. My choice is between the 5 below. Toyo Proxes T1-R, Yokohama A539 (running at moment and wear to quick and useless in wet)...

I have just been reading this thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=308071 I was wandeirng will the standard wheels as fitted to 182FF's and 182 Cups fit on my 172FF without any probs ? Or will they rub cause they run slightly wider tyres (205/45R16's) than the 172FF...

And what size of tyres do they run ? 205's ?

Agreed pull it firmly and it should pop off (well it will if you have a 172/182ff, 172/182 cup style clio with it attached to grill) If you break the tabs just use no more nails or similar to fix it back on ;) I'm unsure how it comes off on the earlier clio 172's, as its on the bonnet :(...
