I fancy getting a remapped ecu for my 172FF. I was gonna go and get it remapped somewhere but i was considering getting one of the ecu's they sent you already mapped and you return your own one to them. k tec do a group n remapped one for £293.75...

I go to asda and get sponges from there for arches etc. There 30p or something for a jumbo one ;)

I just noticed i have a metal bar thing in the boot behind back seats with metal hooks/eyelets for tying stuff too. Its covered by a plastic cover/casing. Is it worth leaving it in car ? Or would it be a worth removing it ?

I had a 2000 plate polo gti that i sold a few years ago and it also had a gearbox problem. Went through 2 :( Wouldn't go as far as garbage though :S

Just has a quick scan on Hillpowers website, do they do any parts for 172's ? Meaning Eibach springs, silicon elbows etc etc. As i couldn't see a section to click on for172's :S
