Where did you pick up car from ? Has your steering rack or steering column been removed at any point ? As people have said there should be a rubber gaiter there to stop crap coming in :(

Thats what i thought mate even with AC switched off the air should still be cooler at 16 than at 19. And when AC goes on it should get colder still. How weird :S unless you have a slightly blocked heater matrix or matrix feed pipes. I was gonna say it could be sticky thermostat problem...

I had to push in the head unit and at same time having my hand up back of dash (up back of centre console where cup holders next to footwell heater duct and below glovebox) and pulling cable gently down back of dash. As i had same problem as well, there so tight for space :( Good Luck ;)

I was wandering are all the Centre cap keys (the black ones with 3 prongs on the end of them) for Renault Centre Caps the same ? As i've just fitted a set of locking nuts incase they are, and as my car never came with any :dapprove: :dapprove: The centre caps i'm going on about are the ones...

Would it be cooler than a standard airbox with an uprated panel filter and decent air feed from grill ?

Good old Renault Locking wheel caps eh! :( That can be removed with pliers :( (Hope you have locking nuts) Are each cars wheel cap key different are are they all the same (All fit each other) ?

What did Renault do to Ecu on 182 to make it different to the 172 one ? Was it a slight Remap ? Or something else ?

Anyone any ideas how much it'd be to get both the inlets matched ? And if i'd be better to go to a specialist to get my remap suited to car, or does anyone know if the preset remaps on ecu's on an exchange basis you can get sent to you are a good set up ?

I agree with you there. There was a thing on tv a while ago about Police speed Guns etc being insufficient at catching people, but i can only remember a few things they went over. I think they said when coppers are using them they need a really steady hand as any movement can give wrong...

So what power would i have approximately ? Yeah i heard you can put a deposit down on top of the retail price for a Remapped Ecu and you get it back from them when they receive your standard Ecu in Return. I take it these are set ReMaps- by that i mean the same for all 172/182's ? And...
