This is very different tho, Apple are charging 1.5k for their top end iPhone which IMO is just a normal phone. Samsung have had to invest heavily in R&D etc its something that hasn't really been done before apart from the Royal. The normal S10 models still undercut Apple pricing.

I always have the DAB on the passenger side a pillar and it needs to contact metal i believe to ground it. Then the mic goes on the drivers a pillar, unless there is an OEM spot, normally where the lights in the headlining are.

My headunit came with a cage, but it was too big for the Honda surround as it only takes 103mm cages and even then I had to trim a little and it was tight. its just the way it goes, if i want the car to be reliable and work for years then i don't mind putting a bit of money in at the start to makes sure mechanically its all good. Which it now is so hopefully no further issues.
