i think v6 will always be a specialist car and in another 10 years + will climb again, possibly the twr ph1 more so than the ph2. They dont have the heritage of the turbo 1 and turbo 2 they emulate but still a limited run special mad dog from Renault. i also think a sliver ph1 with the ali...
little update on this, added the extra spacers for a little more length, ran it on the dyno and even though the revs are incorrect it pulled 197bhp and quite flat torque, it recorded 145lbft at the rev limit of 7500 not the 7100 the dyno calculated with so i make that 208bhp at the rev limiter...
such a shame, tbh on my old itb and cammed clio i used to easily run round in the high 20's. never failed to start or anything. sounds strange but if you can leave your windows cracked open on a frozen night it will pull the moisture out of the car. Will be freezing the next morning but the cold...
Had a stage 2 LCR recently, 280-290bhp went like a rocket ship, just had a lot of weight to shift about on track so wasn't that nimble. Strangly I did a wet track day in it and the driver aids made it a weapon lol
badger 5s fan setup struggles after a day of mapping, used him a fair bit over the last few years as im on the same trading estate, when i had my LCR we ended up misting the cooler and inlet with water to try and keep temps down.
Car looks awesome bar the spoiler. Great cars though a mate of mine is on his 3rd one now fitted with a rotrex'd dc5 engine, goes like stink. I had the ATR not too long ago also a very good car, not much between them tbh
