Had to bring this thread back from the ashes for this

I'm looking too and watched loads of videos on youtube,
they look ok for 50% of work but they're an awkward height if you want to pull the gearbox etc as you're half way between knelt down and stood up
this is another option if in a standard height garage...
It's probably why i'll never own another 172/182, I paid £1600 for a mint 70k mile 182
Same with 106, 205's 306's etc they were ok for a couple of £k but i won't pay nostalgia tax

Get an interior
mot
change wheels
detail it
you might get £5k or £5.5k if belts are done
you need to spend around £1k to bring up to the above sale standard or £1.5k if doing belts and a service as well.
You can't really sell it without a test as that reduces 95% of the market that don't...
Guessing you're not in the UK,
We had the JC5 106 and 091 here in the mk1 Megane 2.0 16v, not sure about other countries.
the JC5 gearbox will be fine with the revs
Bearings don't like being sat idle for long periods and I've seen plenty of genuine Renault timing belt kits with seal failure on the bearing as early as 18 months after replacement
