By the time the head is done and it's back together it's going to be 2 weeks at best and with a new belt, dephaser, water pump etc, you will be in it for near a grand,

Just to add the stamp in the book for the belts done is the stamp of a used car forecourt so may...
Take a tyre pressure gauge and a foot pump,
with the Ad08r's set pressures to 32 front 28 rear before you go out, do a warm up lap, 5 laps, then a cool down lap and come back in,
check tyre pressures again will probably be around 36 front 32 rear now, drop them back to 32 28 again,

Remove A B and C pillar plastics, then remove grab handles and rear middle seat belt bracket (in roof), then gently ease it down, it held to the roof skin with a few blobs of silicone.
removed the N/S subframe bolts and just Backed off the O/S gave me enough room to slide the box across and get my small child like Berol wielding hands in.

Have the belts and dephaser done while it in bits and put it down to experience,
No need to paint the cam cover, not seen a rusty one yet.
The difference equates to 2mph at 60mph or around 150rpm, I'd wait till you need the box out for another reason and do then rather than making it a job in itself, if you haven't done anything with the suspension refresh that first, a set of new172 cup shocks are a good cheap upgrade
early production runs always have issues, even in multi million pound products,
you should give the guy a chance, it may be the next big thing, power gains wise.
