Or buy one that's close and have the engine shat itself and have no car at all :)
Decision, decisions. For the price, the arctic blue seems a good buy.
I don't believe you. There is nothing to move on to.
You've said it yourself. You will end up with another car you get bored of after a track day and buy another Clio.
Get it turbod and rape it.
Dephaser will rattle if its shat itself.
If the belts were done, make sure the dephaser was aswell, as its a belts off job to do it on its own anyway (in good practice)
Take it for a proper test drive. I.E taking it over 5-6k and testing all the gears. They tend to crunch between 3rd and 4th if...
If the belts have been done, offer him a cheeky 2k and take it from there.
Just make sure all the paperwork is there to back it up and look out for who done the work. Its pretty much a specialist job so don't just see its been done and take it as gospel.

I don't have any machinery to do mine, I do it all by hand and a garden hosepipe.
I rinse mine with cold water from the hose on the "shower" setting to loosen up any dirt/grit then give it...
Springs will not quieten the exhaust, that's just being hopeful.
I bet its not sitting right somewhere. The backbox goes over the top of the rear beam so its always going to be close to it.
£800+ for a standard exhaust?
Cheers. So do I take one out at a time (leaving 3 in) and see if it improves, or do i need to get a good spare one to swap with the one in taking out.
I don't have any fault codes. Cars on 56k, not sure on the coilpack/leads etc. Throttle body os clean as a whistle, plugs are clean.
I do get a...
Idle is all over the place. The rev counter needle doesn't pick up on the drop and increase of revs bit i can feel it.
Its almost to the point where it feels like it should stall but never does.
Its done it since I've owned it but I thought it was normal having read the idle is rough on these...
