I think there were half a dozen 182 Trophys on an 06 plate, including #477 and #500.

Some people recommend A-Plan (Thatcham) - they may or may not meet your needs but could be worth a call in case they can deliver.

Brilliant write-up Jamie, really valuable info in here and it’s so inspiring, I just wish I lived a little closer. 1,000 mile motorway round trip just to get to somewhere interesting will make this a challenge to get signed-off by the other half but there’s plenty of time to plan.

Just go to your retailer of choice - Currys, John Lewis, Richer Sounds etc - and buy something within budget. At that price they’re not going to be discerning enough to understand or appreciate the finer details of spec so I’d just get one that they like the remote control of.
