I thought so. Just wanted to double check :) a quick update, ive got the surrounds off the plates now. Just waiting for my 3/4 to arrive from fancyplates. Hopefully it doesn't take to long as ive got the front plate on the dash at the moment

I had the mk3. Was nice to drive and handle but it was riddled with little annoying problems electrically. Also replaced the clutch about 5 times. Had to have the pedal box welded as my foot went through it. great looking car though :)

have had cambelt kit, aux kit, dephaser all done for peace of mind. Feels a lot tighter all round and is running sweet as a nut from cold. May go and get it timed up but to be honest it feels as good as it can. the chav surrounds are coming off the plates and have ordered a 3/4 for the front...

well the only lube I had was called slide and ride and the father in law was about so I didn't fancy whipping that out.... :S

have only just noticed while messing around under the bonnet that I have ktec topmounts. Its still got the standard suspension setup so what, if any preference suits these topmounts best? I'm not looking to slam it as my driveway is sloped but want a nice subtle stance that is visibly noticeable...

yup, disconnected the fan and all working fine. Cheers guys, another easy fix :D

have got a noise coming from passenger side xenon light when ignition is turned on. sounds like an electric motor turning. I think its the leveling mechanism constantly adjusting from what I can think. I have just had some engine work done so it could of got knocked. just wondered if anyone else...

can a dephaser be reused? mines come out today with no issues with it. Its being changed with the cambelt, aux etc but its not got any issues with it. is out of a 50k engine. just wondered if someone needed one cheap.
