Crash Mcrae, i'd love to know the total cost of all the cars he's written off. The whole family of Mcrae's will be crashing at a show near you...namely the scottish motorsport show 24th and 25th February.

3 years to take pictures of the car....not the fastest of photographers...lol To design / engineer every part yourself and have a working engine 1/3 scale is pretty special but 12 years to build it...INSANE!! and whats more crazy he cant even drive it...his talents are wasted building model cars.

My car recently had the centre section of the exhaust replaced due to a rattling baffle. This seems to have cured the problem with cold starts.

Each to their own. I like my car to be clean but most times it aint, i prefer to drive it rather than clean it. :race: The cars that have been washed/waxed/clayed properly do look amazing.

Here's what i used to change the settings. If your not sure like i said before take it back to where the alarm was installed and get them to re-adjust it. It's always good now and then when the proximity alarm went off....means the alarms actually working. I'd prefer the alarm to be too...

I had a Clifford concept 600 on my pug 306, Mine use to go off all the time when the binman would stop his truck right next to my car on purpose so the proximity warning alarm would go off....i think it humoured him no end...:mad: Also when it was very windy this would set it off. Try taking...

Just a bit special...im liking this a lot. That engine conversion is very special, 400 bhp + and a 1 off roof mounted intercooler, ive never seen that before...not sure how much proper cooling this would get :S

Mint car m8, the recessed exhaust works well and the plate must be worth a fair few £££. I'd get some clear side repeaters and your sorted. ;)

Clio cam sounds a good idea...what camcorder you got, is the nightvision really good? i might have to buy a camcorder and set one up...gives me an excuse to buy a comcorder as well i suppose...!!

Woke up this morning to find 2 slashed tyres...i'm well pissed off!!!! These are my spare set of alloys as i have put my original set of Turini's in for a refurb on Monday. Now i dont know if i should put my refurbbed alloys + good tyres back on the car...if there gonna be slashed...

Tried that 1 m8 unfortunately the louder the music...the more it bloody rattles from the speakers in the doors :(

I had an annoying rattle from the passenger door...pissed me off for ages, found out it was the seatbelt hitting against the door. I just connect the passenger seat belt when i have no passengers and it stops the rattle. I also get a rattle from where the headlights can be adjusted..push it in...

Yeah i'm running a standard 172 mk2 cup. :D ^^ yip they are around 280bhp and exactly what you said the 4wd power loss and extra weight of the bigger car comes into play.

I agree with this. I can keep up with an evo5 upto 120mph (on private road) then the clio runs out of puff.

Looking good Rory, exhausts sit just out enough from the bodywork. Need to hear this once it's bedded in and you give it some beans on the b-roads. Glad your happy with the fitment.
