As in nuts towards steering rack - both sides. It's a moot point but it's how they'd come from the factory. I've built a 182 racecar and restored 2 road going 182's and i've found if these small details have been overlooked, it's a good sign everything else needs checking and correcting haha...

It must have been in tight for it to snap (180Nm for reference).😮 Without sounding pedantic, the bolts would go back in L-R for NSF and R-L for OSF. 😉 Good luck with the build 😀

I wouldn’t even mention it, paintwork is either good or it’s not. My RB resto is going in for corrective work which was done in a ‘spray booth’. You’d think that was done in the Gobi desert with Halfords spray cans. It has more runs than Mo Farah.
