    Andys Racing Blue FF

I haven't touched mine since end of April, house build has taken over, so sort of lost interest in it for moment. Get some pics up of the detailing when it's done!

Any interest in another titanium tidy up?

Sad to hear. A few of us on here have been through the pain of tackling the underneath. Not a pleasant job! Sadly there are lots of shiny 182 turds about, many owners completely unaware. I wouldn't touch another one unless: a) I knew the owner/history of the car b) There were comprehensive...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Ok, I’ll embarrass myself first 😂 Prices have cooled a little with fuel prices but I think the person who buys yours won’t be too bothered about that. I’d hazard a guess and say somewhere between £12-£14,000 for the car on its own. You’d easily sell those spares individually so I’d go down that...

    My Inferno Story...

Aye I understand. I’ve had my BG up for sale half a dozen times and every time I’ve found a buyer, I change my mind and spend more money on it. There’s a lad across the road from me at Bristol Street Motors who’s just sold his Fiesta ST and is probably in the market for a 182. I’ll give yours a...

CSF22 ClioSport Festival 2022 - Book Tickets Now!

I was going to come down in the RB but the corrective paintwork has been put back until mid July. So providing i don't have to be on building duties, i'll come down Saturday morning and head back home in the evening. Give the old BG a run out. It'll be nice to finally meet people who've helped...

    Hopgop1's RB 182

I had sportlines on my Kia GT and they were a bit bouncy but great at Cadwell and Croft. Also had some Pro-kit on my Honda Civic and they were really comfortable and good on the road. The latter are a good balance between comfort/handling. They’re good on the RB, just not as good as the...

    Hopgop1's RB 182

I had Cooksports on my BG 182 and found them too crashy. Fortunately I still had the original CUP springs, so refurbished those and the car drives lovely again. My RB has Eibach Pro-kit springs and they’re very close to factory. They don’t ride the odd bump-in-the-road as well as the CUP...

    Mac Os upgrade

Honestly, i wouldn't bother putting the latest OS on older machines, it'll just slow your computer down. I've been into Macs since 1998 when i purchased a G3 Bondi-Blue iMac desktop (still have them all boxed up at home). Just upgrade a couple of OS at a time, then buy a new machine and put...

750 are awesome on circuit but i wouldn't recommend on a road car.

My First Frenchie - 182 BG

As in nuts towards steering rack - both sides. It's a moot point but it's how they'd come from the factory. I've built a 182 racecar and restored 2 road going 182's and i've found if these small details have been overlooked, it's a good sign everything else needs checking and correcting haha...

My First Frenchie - 182 BG

It must have been in tight for it to snap (180Nm for reference).😮 Without sounding pedantic, the bolts would go back in L-R for NSF and R-L for OSF. 😉 Good luck with the build 😀

Super unleaded or fcuk it normal

No danger with me then Jon. I think i've only pushed the limiter once on my BG and that was accidental 😂

Super unleaded or fcuk it normal

I can't get 99 on my fuel card, so I either mix it, or take off the road.

Super unleaded or fcuk it normal

I've been mixing half 95 and half 99 all last week. Not noticed any change in MPG or performance.

    Back in the game

The market is nuts. I bought my RB last year for £5,400. Began restoring it and during the build a genuine buyer following the progress offered me £7,500. It’s not for sale though. 2 months on the buyer still hadn’t found one he liked so increased his offer to £9,000. I was so tempted but I...

    Rusty’s Titanium 182 take 2!

I ordered some injectors off them years ago. Took nearly a month. First and last thing i've ever ordered off them. ADDED - would you not be able to get a deal out of your local dealership - with you being in the trade? I can get up to 25% off stuff but generally no less than 10% which makes...

Petrol blue for sale on Facebook (if anyone is looking for one) NOT Mine

I wouldn’t even mention it, paintwork is either good or it’s not. My RB resto is going in for corrective work which was done in a ‘spray booth’. You’d think that was done in the Gobi desert with Halfords spray cans. It has more runs than Mo Farah.

Petrol blue for sale on Facebook (if anyone is looking for one) NOT Mine

Maybe put Sport and 182 in the title and correct the engine size too, as it indicates it’s a 1.0 litre. I stumbled across it looking for bits and pieces. So might help get more views. Looks a nice car 👍

MY2005 Racing Blue Clio 182 CUP - Senna

Just a lovely project build. Proper commitment. I'm sure many Clio Sports owners will be thinking they wished they had the skills or facilities to do this, but it's definitely doable on a driveway if it's done in sections. Sadly we're going to see a lot of these cars taken off the road in...

How long have you been an owner ?

Owned my BG Clio Sports (2 up until a few weeks ago) for 5 years and counting..... For me that's outstanding as i'm normally swapping after 3 months.
  28. Mr Underhill

    Absolutely devastated

I’ve got a lovely restored BG you can have for say…..8,650?🤑😂 Gutted for you but if they pay out that’s one hell of a result. At least you’re more knowledgeable about Clio’s now and have an idea what to look for. Providing you go for another one of course.

    ***How much is it worth?***

They’ve been going for daft money at the start of this year. Seen them sell anywhere between 3 to 5.5k. A lad on here paid the latter for one recently (and it turned out to be a turd). I think prices in general are cooling a little but if I were to hazard a guess I’d go for 4K and see what...
