The Vee is an amazing car, but don't expect ridiculous speed. It isn't actually that quick. The whole experience of it, gearbox especially and the noise is lovely. I wouldn't write silver off its actually a really nice colour on the Vee. But if your after Mars the I'd stick with that.

I think it was £60 for the whole car, really impressed. He was very professional and did a great job. I think he also does work for some bmw dealers and he's based in Oxfordshire somewhere.
If you going by hand, I would just use the SRP. EGP has been forgotten about a little and probably isnt as good as some of these newer sealants but its still great.
I would consider a nice wax to go over the top.
If your not machine polishing then I wouldn't waste money on other products.
I had a few dents removed from this chap. Really good job and £65 for the whole car. He was recommended from pistonheads. I'm sure I paid £40 a panel years ago from somewhere else. If it means anything he does dent removal for Sytner BMW.

Jeffs was the " in thing" a few years back. Easy to use and has an excellent finish and longevity to it. I've never used these newer products so can't comment.
It would probably be shiny and if a little swirly then it would be shiny swirls. If you can't be arsed polishing it then I guess it's better than nothing.
Alternative is just to use a spray wax when drying. Autoglym Aquawax or Duragloss Aquawax are both excellent. Enough protection for a...
