Ha! I was going about 15mph around this long sweeping bend, hit some ice and skidded. It was like it was in slowmotion i was going so slow,i tried braking, steering either way and powering out but nothing worked lol.
I might go and get some more pics later while its clean. Hmmm Reigate multi...
To buy parts from. I can fit them all myself, my dad is a mechanic and has a garage with ramps and tools so i am lucky:o
Yeh i have been looking around saxp and ssc.
Yeh i suppose i might aswell get the 280mm brakes if i am going to get 15inch wheels.
What are good tuning specialists like Ktec but for saxo parts?
Only one ive found is Kam racing.
Cheers mate. The insurance is really reasonable imo. With Bell: £1400 fully comp, 18, 0 ncb, 1 years driving exp and 3 points, with my mum and dad as named drivers on the policy. It was going to be £990 to reinsure my clio with zurich.
Cheers everyone!
Mini valver: that is what was underneath. Are you sure they are meant to come with an alloy as a spare? this one has probally never been used, michelin tyre loads of tread, stickers still on it. it is the same size as the alloys.
I was thinking to buy two alloys, replace the...
Got it just before Christmas but i have only just got round to taking photos.
My old Clio 1.4 I sold it for £1600. Bought it for considerably less.;)

And my new Saxo VTR 2001 63,000miles, pretty mint, lady owner. I payed £2000...
Try some bilberry wheel cleaner. A lot of people seem to like it although i have never used it yet. What clay are you using? Have you tried Strong wheel cleaners yet?
Seams like you have made a sensible decision, wouldnt want to look back and wish you hadnt have spent so much on modding a car at that age. Plenty of years ahead of you to build track cars and do trackdays, and the insurance will be a million times more reasonable.:D
What sort of speeds do people use on machines? I have a rotary which i got off my dad but i have only ever used it with srp. It goes at 2000-2500rpm. ?
I had a mk1 while i was learning to drive, cleaned it up and sold it the week after i passed my driving test. For the tiny spots of rust, i got some Farecla G3 on a cloth and cleaned it back to the bare metal then wacked on some tippex:o was a white car obviously.
You could get a touch up set...
I saw you last week chris. either thursday or friday i cant remember, going into caterham town centre from the caterham bypass. I saw that smashed up bumper from a mile away;)
Last year at Trax (which was at the same venue as FCS this year) they said get there before 8 as after then there will be public walking around then. People turned up a lot later though and there was no trouble. You can leave early too i left at about 2.30.
Autosol metal polish for the exhausts.
Peanut butter for the black parts to clean them up and maybe get rid of the scuff, then top them up with some autoglym bumpercare when they just need a little attention.
