I have just bought a VTR 2001 63k very good condition and its all standard. Was up for 2,400 but i got it for 2,000.:) seems an oright price your one with the mods. What exhaust is that btw?
Thats still pretty decent mate. Remember its an average though so it will never be correct.
My new VTR rinsed £40 in two days not even doing many miles!
it might not be the fuse for the hazard lights. The whole panel it sits on isnt very good and on my mates car it turned out that the plug on the back of the hazard light switch had come loose. Maybe whip your stereo out and have a look.
How much are you looking to spend?
What bulbs do the car take?
Upgrade the bulbs to a brighter whiter light get some osrams or phillips bulbs. Will be about £25 ish i think
Hids will be brighter and a much more white/blue light. £50- £100 depending on what bulb you need.
I have some 6 led white ones if you want them ill give them to you for free mate. They fitted on my clio but they dont fit through the hole on my new saxo. i need some 4 led ones i think.
When i moved into my house it had all the cables run in the walls and up to the loft and they were all just bunndled up there but were not plugged into anything. We had to buy and aerial aswell as a signal amplifier and wire it all up myself. tvs have been fine since with a good picture. that...
1 person should try a set and give a decent review imo. rather than have 30 odd people unhappy. When i was looking for some for my saxo the company vmax came up a lot and seem really cheap. not too sure about them though.
APC will strip wax so no need to use TFR.
Claying will also strip waxes as will polishing.
In my opinion: If the car has swirl marks and you cant live with them then get a machine, some pads and some decent polish to get rid of them. If it doesnt have swirls or you arent too bothered about...
You can still see the swirl marks before you have clayed the car. Do clay it though as it will get rid of bonded on dirt and contaminants lol. After claying the car will probally look worse, but even polishing by hand you will be able to get rid of any marring the clay caused.
TFR is traffic...
I wouldnt bother covering stuff mate just use common sense.
Get your engine and machine cleaner and a brush. Spray a small section then clean it with the brush.
Get another spray bottle with water in it and use it wash the section you have just cleaned.
Do small sections at a time rather than...
If you have no real swirl marks then i wouldnt really bother getting a machine to polish the car.
Keep up a good wash routine to reduce the swirl marks inflicted. Two bucket method
Clay
Re-wash
Polish SRP
Sealant EGP
then get a wax on top of that.:)
Firstly have you got a hole in you glovebox for the wire to go into?
Keep the headunit out. Get down in the passenger foot well on your back looking up under the dash you should be able to see the big whole where the headunit goes in. get you arm up there and poke the wire through and down...
Mine was the same mate. About 10mm too, when i lowered it on just springs it helped a bit but it was still a few mm higher on one side. I put it down to renault build quality or has your car ever been in a crash?
