Yeah, it works unplugged too.
Seems to be charging now.
2 weeks out of warranty, typical.
Gally, erm, yeah pretty much into the mains all the time! Didnt realise that! Can it be saved?!
Should I charge it up, then run it down everytime unplugged from the mains?
Need some help.
My laptop has all of a sudden decided it won't charge?!
It is plugged in, acknowledges this but won't charge it up :S
Any ideas?
Just gonna check when I bought it, might still be under warranty...
'Hi, I'd like to waste some money today, anything you could suggest?'
'Certainly sir, 4 pot brakes are quite a good way to spend a lot of money for little on road gain...'
'Perfect, I'll take 2 sets, costs more that way'
4 Pots are not really a lot better than upgraded standards dude in braking force (from what I've read from people in the know) but they will be pretty much fade free all the time.
On my 182 I fitted braided lines, race fluid, Brembo MAX discs and redstuff pads, the braking was stupid, I got a...
Re: how do people lower their cars 50-60mm when my driveshafts are rubbing with just
Doubt its a driveshaft, I went this low and only rubbing was tyres slightly...
Feel gutted for you.
I had bought a 182, sent a deposit etc, all good to go. Was due to drop off my old Lupo in the morning, then go pick up the 182. Got a phonecall about 8.30pm the night before being told he had changed his mind and couldnt sell me the car.
Still got rid of the Lupo and...
Theres one that SteBurns has on his 197, looks perfect.
Think it's from a lower modelled mk3, drop him a pm to ask?
Edit, might be the car you saw, he has a red 197 with black wheels?
Massive lol.
Just looked on clio197.net to see if there was a guide to changing the pads, and theres one to check how much pad material is left, with pictures showing that you should be looking at the pads. How else would you check?!
Thanks Fred.
What is the fix for seized pins if needed? WD40 and some elbow grease?
Likely to be seized on a 2 year old Clio?
Struggling to imagine how they look!
Are there any differences between changing brake pads on a 182 and an R27?!
I'm guessing it's completely the same principle?!
Without seeing any up close I'm not 100%!
Mine wasn't stupidly low, but it was low.
There was still a LOT of lower adjustment on the AST's.
Never had it corner weighted, wouldnt have made any difference for my style of driving, as on track I would have had a passenger/instructor anyways most of the time.
It was set up to -ve2 on the...
On my local roads there is far too much bumpsteer etc for coilovers. Mine were pro set-up by a BTCC and BritCar Race mechanic, the H&R's and AST's.
They just don;t seem to work for road use, the car is way too stiff and snappy. I was convinced they were better after I had spent stupid money on...
H&R's don't work well in my opinion. Front is way too soft, rear is way too hard.
Had 2 different sets on my 182 and the sportlines + std dampers were a much much better option. I wouldnt waste my time or money considering coilovers again unless I wanted low, and only low.
