Does the rest of the unit look as though it will fit?
As Gray said, I'm pretty sure all of the MK2's have the same dimension for that part of the hub (?), never noticed any difference on any that I've lowered, are you sure they are the right set for a clio. Might be worth checking the part...
Just had a call from Meguiars, said it's out of warranty, but it's one of the dodgy batch they had, and because they can tell it hasn't been abused, they're sending out a brand spanker to me :D
Very pleased with the service.
Bear in mind an 05 plater will be coming up to Cambelt change time.
I think you'd be better looking for one with it already done, or budget on it in the price. Obviously when moving out the last thing you need is a 700 bill for car servicing!
Alternatively, cambelt on my Integra has been done...
Yes, but the centre bore on mazda is smaller I think, therefore will be hard to get it to fit and not be 100% safe, although it should be fine.
(although, the mazda bore may be larger, in which case no! Clio is 60.1mm bore)
They are expensive though mate, if you get one, make sure its had loads of new bits!
I rebushed the back end of mine, some bushes, arms and bolts was £300!
Seriously, a DC2 will be cheaper to insure, more space inside, nicer looking in my opinion, and shows that you arent gay...(even though...
I'd do 500 miles nice and steady, then get it warmed up properly and thrash it.
Proven that engines driven hard from the start make very good power compared to 'well treated' ones.
Luke, need to show you mine properly sometime, I'd go for a DC2 over the civic if you're after an old jap box to be honest.
Personally, keep the 182...
Fletcher you cant cheat by parking on a slope!
I could park my dads van upto a pile of slabs and say it's 'slammed' using that theory!
Flat surfaces only or GTFO ;)
Yozza is the only way to go.
With the cat on it's awesome, not too loud when you're chilling out driving, but plenty of goodness on the loud pedal. Miss mine.
With a decat however, anti social is not the world, pulling off slowly used to set car alarms off, did sound awesome when I went for a...
Honda people are friggin wierd. Completely different enthusiasm mentality compared to Renaults, far too uptight! Same as VW.....
Decent pictures though!
H&R's will need camber correction bolts really, and while your at it go for some solid top mounts for the front.
Although if you go for AST adjustable top mounts, I think they have enough camber adjustment for you to forget about the camber bolts, best to ring Curtis up at Powerstation.
Mine were so crashy/stiff/skippy on the car on the rear, but so much dive on the front. They shouldnt have been fooked either, were 4 months old when i bought them with apparently 4-5k miles use on them.
Agree though, get a feel of each set-up as they suit completely different driving styles...
