Ordered Spax RSX coilovers for the RB, finally... FINALLY, I can say goodbye to the GAZ setup :)

Fitted new rear brake discs and pads on the RB, attempted to raise the adjuster platforms but the Allen key size is 9mm and only had an 8 and 10mm.

The offer at £560 is on until next Friday, I spoke to them today and if they have a set in stock on the Monday they will be sending me a set via courier. The chap on the phone couldn't confirm as he doesn't have dealings with the offe.

Are these the same Spax coilovers sold by 519? £560, i'd also be seriously tempted to purchase a set too. I have the 60mm hubs (the bain of my life!) and been trying to work out the cheapest way to get a decent setup Dave, feel free to PM but whats the damage for H&R coilovers?

I did see Nicks Koni rear dampers and am tempted. Crazy that the trophy dampers are over twice the price each and not much in it on the damping

My GAZ coilover suspension is past it's sell by date, the plan is to change over the dampers front and rear over time. Would the Trophy Sachs rear dampers be worth fitting? A set has come up, my GAZ rears are knocking and need to replace so was thinking the Trophy items might be worth a go, it...

All this is theory and thought i'd bring it up for discussion to see if anyone has attempted trying something out (dam cup pack hubs :D) So, brackets made up with 60mm spacing, welded on a set of coilovers could be a possibility if the talent and welding skills were at my disposal?

I was looking into carbon bullets, there is a difference between Streamline and Chris's items. I PM'd Chris about the possibility of having the bullets made in carbon with the 2.0 and 16V raised like the OE ones, to which he replied that Streamline actually make them already. Admittedly pricey...

I've not looked at coilovers close up for a while now to see how they set up their negative camber. From what i remember the bolt in the top is a certain shape to allow the top of the hub to be pulled in or out for positive/negative camber, i don't know if they just rely on a different shape top...
