when you say new its the wg111 which i think has been around for some time, so what does this change thing do? and how do i do it?

i just got sky broadband and a netgear wireless usb adaptor. connects fine to Ps3 and mobile. But my pc keeps connecting to network then dropping every 10seconds. I have downloaded the latest drivers for usb adaptor tried repairing connection by right clicking and it keeps saying cannot renew...
