wow, that polo makes me want to buy one!
how did you find it speed wise etc?
1. 2003 1.2 16v billabong clio
2. 2004 1.2 16v dynamique
not sure what im going for next, hopefully middle of this year the clio will be gone for something different.
in my opinion they feel so much faster than a 172/182, but the clio should easily eat it.
i dont understand why people are calling them heavy, surely they will weigh less than a clio?or at least the same, they arent much bigger and have no fancy gadgets etc.
get something half decent mate, i got 4x toyo proxes in 195/50's delivered for £120 from mytyres.co.uk, so your looking at £60 for 2.
or something similar.
right could do with a bit more advice please?
the damage to the car can be sorted for £180ish, and the car is advertised for £4700, so should i say £4500 without fixing the damage?
the girls brother came to see it today, and shes coming to have a look on sunday to see what she thinks, are...
yeah, proper bodyshop, but you might need the side of the car blending in etc, might be better to get a new door!
its good he admitted it but he should of left a note, i know i definately would if i damaged someones car, i know how annoyed i'd be if someone had done it to me, i would just own...
im not in a huge rush to sell, so id rather be truthful about it.
hopefully ill be able to get a quote for the damage and use this to bargain the price, but i still need to take my private plate off etc so should have time!
although i seem to be taking everything as if they are 100% going to...
that would be good mate, just to keep my options open, if its cheap enough then im happy to travel.
bit drunk at the minute!could you pm me the details?
thing is, i know how id want to buy a car, i dont want to rip either myself or the buyer off, id like to think id let the car go for a fair price as i know that what i'd want as a buyer.
thanks for the replies, i think ill ring her tomorrow morning and mention it, just to make sure she knows as its not the smallest of damage.
im trying to find a body repair place near me but no luck so far, ive emailed chips away but no reply as of yet, argh!
yeah i know, but i do plan on sorting it all out.
bit of a quick phonecall so forgot to mention it to be honest, hopefully her bro wont think the car is dodgy.
right need a bit of help please...
you may have seen my car in the for sale section, so...
got a lad coming to look at the car tomorrow for his sister, the wind blew the door onto a wall yesterday and its bent it and chipped the paint, real ball ache, theres a few scuffs to the lower front...
as for the problem, did the place who MOT'd the car not explain what it was, i thought it was part fo their job to explain?
if you got your coilovers fitted localish could you not go back to them and ask if they see any problems?
hope your ok mate, from what ive heard about whiplash get a neck brace, you need to keep it straight otherwise it could be a problem for the rest of your life, stiff neck etc.
hope the car's ok, how fast were you hit?
i was hit at about 10-15 in my first clio and wasnt hurt, i was stopped but...
cool.
but depending on the price i think alot of people on here really rate F1'S, i know i love my proxes, so much grip and it doesnt seem to spin up as easy if you try and pull from a junction fast.
wind did this to me door, onto a f**king wall, massive flat spot, chipped the paint etc, so pissed off.
pretty sure its gonna cost me a lot to get fixed, gutted
but what have u spent on it?
i reckon the standard car on a 52 would be worth about £4.5k?? maybe less,
then u throw insane amounts of money at it making it look so ugly, and then its just going to lose value like a stone, to the point you will have to give it away!
plus its not exactly...
